This is my fifth time watching this video and I really appreciate how BTS incorporates traditional instruments as well as hanboks, masks and even the two Korean lions dancing to the music in the intro for Idol.

진짜 정말 소름돋고 충격받았다... 억지로 국뽕한사발 넣은 곡이 아니라 지금 POP에 정말 케이팝이란 이름이 무색하지않게 한국적인 요소를 잘 녹여낸거 처음봄.. 노래 들으면서 이렇게 세련되면서도 마치 탈춤 사물놀이를 연상시키는 안무와 가사는 처음봐서 진짜 너무 놀랍다...특히 몸을 회전하는 안무.. 이걸 또 외국무대에서 한것도 보니까 소름돋았음. 정말 레전드다. 몇 해외팬들 사이에서 케이팝 팬은 아닌데 BTS 팬이라는 댓글도 많더라...가장 한국적인 것이 가장 세계적이라는 유명 문구를 BTS 때문에 이해했다. 그동안 촌스럽다고 생각했던 국악과 한국무용을 이렇게 멋지게 탄생시켜줘서 고마움..👍

동감입니다. 공연 넘 멋있어요. 미국내 평론가들은 BTS를 K-Pop으로 묶어두는게 옳지않다고 하는 견해들이 있어요. Korean Pop이긴하나, 그 한계를 훨씬 넘어선 아티스트라고요.

2024년 2월10일 설날 저녁 보는중입니다 !!!!! 가끔씩 생각나면 봐도 질리지가 않아요!!

The grannys are not ready for a performance like this. They are the ones who failed to see BTS full potential and how great of a performer BTS is. It's their loss, not the other way around.

또 보러 왔다. 이런 무대를 할 수 있는 팀은 방탄 이 전에 없었고 이 후로도 없다. 내가 방탄을 좋아하는 이유는 세뇌된 것도 아니고, 뭘 모르기 때문도 아니고, 국뽕 때문도 아니다. 그저 이 무대가 개쩔기 때문이며 겁나게 내 취향이기 때문이다. 나는 내 취향을 매우 좋아한다.

2024년에도 이무대를 보니 역시 레전드무대네요👍

Man, what BTS did on this stage is nothing short of magnificent!

I'm not Korean and I find this to be the best stage performance of all time in Kpop history incorporating traditional Korean music and dance; a great way to introduce Korean culture to young people of other countries. I keep re watching this EPIC show; only BTS ! 💜💜💜💜💜♊🇨🇦

JIMIN received plaque of appreciation from Preservation association of Buchaechum(Fan dance) by intangible cultural property.They said the fan dance at MMA was such an unique reinterpretation, it made the aesthetic value of Korean fan dance higher globally. and it was given directly to jimin! omaigod! i'm so damn proud!!! parkJIMIN!!!!

와 이건 진짜 월드컵이나 올림픽 개막식 무대인데 ㅎㄷㄷㄷ

보고 또 봐도 진정 예술작품이네요. 아이돌을 국악으로 편곡해서 연주하는것이 어쩜 이리도 가슴벅차고 큰 감동이 있는지.. 빅히트 연출 진짜 대박이역예요. 우리 방탄소년단들이니깐 더 멋지게 해낼수있었구요.

저거 올라가는 무대 리허설 때 위험하다고 스텝들이 말렸는데 무대장인들이라 끝까지한다고 고집함 위험을 감수하고도 팬들에게 좋은 무대 보여주고 싶은 욕심에 힘들고 어려워도 뭐든 다 해나가는 것 보면 진심이 느껴지고 마음이 짠해짐 새벽세시까지 연습하고 정말 피땀노력으로 만들어진 귀한 무대임 그래서 더더욱 자랑스럽고 소중함

방탄소년단의 이 영상은 아이돌의 퍼모먼스 중에서 최고의 무대 중의 하나로 길이 남으리라 확신합니다... 외국에 사는 외국인으로서 가슴이 웅장해진다는 말이 정말 마음 속에 와닿는 공연이네요... 군생활 건강하게 끝내시고... 완전체로 또 다시 웅장한 퍼모먼스를 보여주실 그 날을 진심으로 기대합니다...

이걸 당시에 본 감동이 아직도 생생하다. 이날 bts 월클 인정. 누가봐도 세계최고.

이 무대는 국가 행사 개막식이든 폐막식이든 반드시 꼭 기필코 다시 해야할 무대이다!!!!!!! 이런 무대 우리 탄이들말고 누가 할 수 있겠는가!!!!!

난 방탄 팬도 아니고 40넘은 아저씨지만 이거 보고 진심 소름돋았다. 물론 해외에서 우리나라의 전통문화에 관심을 갖게 되는것도 의미가 있지만 솔직히 우리나라의 어린친구들도 전통문화에 대해 잘 모르고 관심 없잖아. 이런 퍼포먼스를 통해 자국의 전통문화를 체험하게 된다는 점에서 방탄에게 고마움을 느낀다.

방탄별로 안좋아하고 취향도 방탄 아니고 vip인데 이건 ㄹㅈㄷ임. 이런 아이디어도 정말 좋고 우리나라 전통 악기의 소리같은것도 외국인들이 듣게되고. 이런 우리나라의 전통문화를 잘 전파해주고 한다는게 고마움 :) 첨으로 방탄이 이래서 인기가 많구나 했던 순간임.....

솔까 이건 한국음악사에 길이길이 남을 무대임..누가 3억을 몇분안에 갈아넣을 엄두를 내겠어ㅋㅋㅋㅋ전통을 재해석하는 것에 있어서 완벽한 표본아니냐 이 곡 발매할때 정체성에 대해 고민많이했다던데 미국에서 대접받으면서도 한국인임을 되새기는 것같아서 감동임 진짜..

저기 공연에 인트로부분에 나오신 공연자들 출연료, 연습기간동안에 든 경비, 무대의상, 소품비등등 다 합쳐서 얘기하는거 아닐까요..?

ㄹㅇ 이거 뛰어넘는 무대 아직도 본 적이 없다

우연히 유투브에서 이 영상 보고 말로만 듣던 bts ~ 이래서 인기가 많구나하며 감탄했었지요... 세상에 무슨 사람이 춤을 저렇게 출까? 얼마나 기본기가 탄탄하고 내공이 쌓이면 관절이 저렇게 움직일까? 아이돌 전혀 모르던 제가 감탄하면서 보고 그 후로 찾아보니 그 사람이 제이홉 ♡^^ 그 후로 방탄 마이크 드랍 영상 보고 또 감탄 ~ 맴버들 이름 한명씩 알아가며 팬되기 시작한게 몇년전이네요 ^^

국악을 이렇게 세계에 알릴 만한 기회가 있을까?? 아무리 시대가 변하고 우리나라가 선진국이 되었다한들 서양인들 눈에는 그래도 자기들보다 아래인 동양인이었는데 말이다.. Bts 욕하는 사람들 많은 게 너무 안타까움.. Bts가 결국 우리나라 위상을 높여주고 있는 건 절대 부정할 수 없음 진짜 레전드 무대ㅠㅠ

퓨전국악은 알릴 기회는 은근 많을거 같은데 우리나라가 잘 안만들죠...

우리 딸 내일 학교에서 탈렌트 쇼하는데 MIC DROP 노래 틀어 놓고 춤춘다고 합니다. 딸이 굉장히 내성적인 성격인데 BTS 팬이 되고 나서 부터 엄청 밝게 변하고 이젠 많은 사람들앞에서 춤을 춘다고 하니 너무 기특하고 저도 나이 50넘어서 BTS 에 푹 빠져서 매일 유튜브에서 BTS 최신 뉴스를 찻고 있어요. 국악과 함께 하니 예술의 극치를 보여 주네요. 젊은 친구들이 너무 자랑스럽네요.

36년 살아오면서 본 시상식무대중 최고로 아름다웠습니다.

솔직히 애국심에 컨셉맞지도 않는 전통적인 요소 넣었다가 난해한 무대 만들어 망치는 경우도 많은데....이건 인정...레전드 무대라 할만함...

다양한 인종이 있는데도 굳이 꼭 백인을 골라잡아서 김치 아세요? 싸이 아세요? 물어봐서 좋은 평가를 끌어내기 위함을 알기 때문이죠. 진짜 문화의 힘이 큰 나라들은 가만있어도 다른 나라들이 나서서 평가해주고 인정해줍니다. Do you know로부터 시작되는 물음 자체가 주는 뉘양스를 꼭 외국가셔서 느끼시길 바라요.

2023년에 처음 봤는데 가슴 뭉클, 계속 보게 됩니다. 역시 BTS.

이게 개인 콘서트도 아니고 마마라는게 아미로써 너무 감격스러움 다른 아이돌들은 무대 아래서 보면서 무슨 생각을 했을까?

Jimin with that fan!!! No matter what type of dance form or style he does, he always looks so graceful while doing it. There is something about him that just demands your attention!!! I have never seen a performer like him! You can learn how to dance like him, steps, expressions etc but the charm of his, the fluidity....his aura...just something else!!!

제이홉은 황제가 춤추는것 같고. 지민의 부채춤은 정말 예술이 뭔지 새삼 느끼게 해줬다. 이 무대는 기획부터 공연까지 모든게 완벽 그 이상이다.

방탄도 진짜 너무 멋있는데 편곡도 너무잘헀다 완벽한 무대인것같아요!!!! 빨리 완전체 보고싶다..

Hanbok has been worn and developed steadily for 5,000 years in Korean history. The basic form of Hanbok is pants/skirt+jacket (top clothing). The original form of Hanbok was established during the Goryeo Dynasty, which refers to the pre-Joseon dynasty. In other words, the Joseon Dynasty is the last dynasty in Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace in this video is also a palace dating back to the Joseon Dynasty. Until the mid-Goryeo period, clothes were fastened with a belt, not a ribbon, but the top became shorter during the Goryeo period, making it difficult to fasten with a belt, so a ribbon was used to secure clothes.(There are claims that ribbons came from Mongolia, but clothes tied with ribbons have been found since the Silla Dynasty, before the Goryeo Dynasty.) Also, during the Goryeo Dynasty, China had a country called Yuan (Mongolia). After the war between Mongolia and Goryeo, as exchanges between Goryeo and Mongolia became more active, Goryeo's culture began to become popular among Mongolians, calling it "Goryeoyang." Also, Goryeo women became the Empress of Mongolia, and the trend spread further as the number of Goryeo people increased in the royal family. At that time, people wore Goryeo Hanbok instead of wearing their original clothes. We can see that Goryeo culture was very popular in Yuan.(There are still many pronouns that start with 'Koryeo' in China, which have been handed down since then.) After the collapse of the Yuan Dynasty, China had Ming, a Han Dynasty. The Ming people continued to wear clothes that they had worn since the Yuan Dynasty. And the clothes are Korean traditional clothes. However, the Chinese deny the fact that their culture is superior to that of Korea and claim that Korea stole Chinese hanfu (or hanbok was bestowed by China), but this is the opposite. The clothes of the Ming Dynasty were strongly influenced by the Hanbok of Goryeo. Hong Chi-je(, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, was aware of this fact and banned Korean traditional clothes. I'll attach a passage from the Chinese history book below that contains this fact. 績資治通鹽 卷214, 元紀32 The Empress is also a beauty of Goryeo. All ministers value this, and the aristocrats of the capital must obtain a Goryeo woman before they become a famous family. Since then, everyone in the court has been Goryeo women, and for this reason, the whole world seems crazy, imitating Goryeo's clothing, shoes, hats, and artifacts everywhere. "後亦多畜高麗美人, 大臣有 權者, 軋以此遺之, 京師達官貴人, 必得高麗女 然後為名家. 自至正以來, 宮中給事使令, 大半高麗女, 以 故四方衣服、 靴帽、 器物, 皆仿高麗, 舉世若狂. This is a passage from ancient literature from the Yuan Dynasty. 《菽园杂记》 Mami-gun began in the Joseon Dynasty (Goryeo) and entered the capital. By the end of the year, many government officials were also wearing them. When all the officials were working, resting, in winter and in summer, they were not taken off... ..and therefore prohibited by Hong Chi-je. “马尾裙始于朝鲜国，流入京师……于是无贵无贱，服者日盛。至成化末年，朝臣多服之者矣。阁老万公安冬夏不脱……。大臣不服者惟黎吏侍淳一人而已。此服妖也，弘治初始有禁例。” The second is ancient Chinese literature during the Ming Dynasty. Based on these things, we can find the connection between Hanbok and Hanfu. China has influenced neighboring countries such as Korea and Japan. In fact, hanboks have imported clothing system(단령-Clothes similar to the suits that bureaucrats wore at work.) from the Tang Dynasty of China. But these things don't mean that all hanboks were influenced by China or originated from China. As a person who studies history, I respect and love China's tremendous history and culture. But China's distorted view of history is unacceptable. When you read videos or writings introducing hanbok on the Internet, Chinese people appear and say that hanbok is from China. But this is a lie. They create a history that does not exist, insulting Hanbok, and claiming that Korean culture belongs to China. Close countries are bound to interact with each other. In Hanbok, there is Dan-ryeong who has been imported from China, and just as China's Ming Doubles (Hanfu) originated from Hanbok, we need to consider this interaction. People who don't know much about the history of East Asia often have a stereotype that China delivered all the cultures. But I want to say this. The Korean Wave did not happen out of nowhere. Thank you so much for sharing this valuable information..Something that has impressed me so much is the way Koreans embrace tradition and modernity..There is no existence without roots and no growth without setting eyes on future. Sustainability requires both of these elements and it is so impressive how countries like Korea understand this.
