yes, it was kinda 2nd hand embarrassment for him, but so adorable, i like also how RM hangs out with Taeyang, and you can tell why by listening to him they are of a similar mind. they both also talked a lot about Jimin. its lovely to hear and watch muscians speaking freely about their craft and their own thoughts and experiences.

Late to the game. Finally watched this. What a great interview! OMG Suga really was actually nervous. Never imagined him fanboy that hard. Usually Mr Cool internationally. 😎 Suga has met so many top celebrities and didn't act like that. So nice to see another side of him.

5% Hosting and 95% Fanboying. It took years before BTS' dream of collaborating with their idol happened. So happy for them.

I was lucky enough to meet Taeyang during his White Night tour in 2017, and when that man looks at you and talks to you you're the only thing he sees. He gives you all of his attention and he is so kind and gracious. I hope he and Yoongi work together in the future!

New Kpop Stans who don’t really know Bigbang as well don’t realize how much of an impact this group had on the kpop industry. Bigbang gave YG its name. 2nd gen idol groups like GG, Bigbang, 2NE1, KARA, After School, SHINee and more have been given the title “the idol of idols” (especially BB) for a reason and I motivate people who don’t know them a lot to get into their performances. The men and women who made part of 2nd gen are INSANE. It’s really heart warming to see these 2 sit down and have a sunbaenim hoobae moment

i can really see why bts looked upto bb and taeyang. the guy’s so in tune with himself and reality that it’s fascinating. he has such a calm aura that you want to surround yourself with. despite achieving sm and being so huge early in his life he’s still one of the humblest artists i’ve seen. it’s cool to see him so confident yet so grounded !

As someone who got into kpop because of Bigbang and called myself a 'fan' for the first time because of BTS, this feels so surreal. From what I remember of 2nd gen's time, interviews would generally lean towards a humorous, non-serious vibe, the aim being max viewer entertainment. This is the first time I've gotten to see Taeyang in a setting like this, and solo at that, where his personality shines through so brightly. I don't know if it's just this different setting we get to see him in now, or if it's the passage of time, but I'll be damned if I've seen an idol so... Settled in their own skin before this. He just seems so... At peace with himself. Not saying that he doesn't have worries like any human being, just that he looks remarkably grounded despite any of that.. wow.. this was such a treat to watch

An episode filled with wisdom. Teayang is wise and explains many important life lessons like that he said that don’t forget that your a human before a singer and if there is no growth with oneself then there really isn’t anything there. I love that his number one priority is family.

I am a bts fan but I really liked Taeyang. He has such a calm aura and his voice, the way he talks is really soothing.

I think having people like Taeyang to talk to and ask for advice will be such a great opportunity for BTS members, especially for self-care and better psychology.

i'm so impressed by taeyang's mindset... i mean, i guess that's how he was able to start a family while being one of the biggest idols in the industry. i only wish the same peace and steadiness for suga and the rest of our boys 'cause they deserve to shine both as people and as musicians.

@@beomie1039 Got me curious too... I am a BB stan but I never know of anything we "true VIPS' did against Suga after the interview. Afaik VIPs commended Suga and enjoyed this episode the same way they supported Jimin. From what I remember seeing somewhere (probably a scam news like Allkpop and shizz) there are reports that some army's are criticizing Suga for his comment "BigBang practically making BTS" - although this is more metaphorical and based on ideals and approach on music itself.

Im a hardcore VIP and this interview is really special for me. Seeing how Suga reacts while having conversation with Taeyang is relatable as a fan. BTS loooks up to BB while Taeyang on the other hand expressed how much he has learned working with Jimin so I hope fans would stop comparing the two groups as thay have their own colors and both are legendary

This is actually a very emotional video for me at least. I was feeling emotional just listening and looking at them talk about each other's achievements, how they were inspired by each other, and also discovering new things about each other. This is one of the videos where I've seen the most personality Suga has ever showed, and I admire him for sitting down with Taeyang and talk about a lot of things. This is such a cultural reset. I got into BTS not too long ago but have always been a big fan of Bigbang so this video just makes me so happy

Being a hardcore vip with the boys and seeing their journey from young trainees who used to fanboy over BigBang to becoming successful idols and still seeing suga fanboying over taeyang.Its so heart warming and emotional I just❤😢❤❤

I love the fact that no matter how much of a superstar Suga has become, he is still humbled by Taeyang's presence - one of the people who has hugely influenced him in the industry. And Taeyang, in his ever earnest self, is still as passionate about his music as when he started his career 🥺 He dropped so many "wisdom bombs" about music and life. What an enlightened person he is. yes. they also talked about this in this conversation. taeyang mentioned that all the bts members he has met have talked about the importance of always being well-centered and humble. and I've seen the members always proving it to be true. also other celebs that talk about how humble they are. I'm really proud of them for that. I loved watching this. Suchwita is a great place.

I don't know but I really feel emotional while watching this interview. You can see how much Yoongi adores Taeyang and being able to share your sentiments to someone is very big deal. Eventhough this is a personal interview, Yoongi still keeps on mentioning the other boys. I felt so touch when he said "I love BTS cause I am with them. I love them as a fan. We are brothers." Taeyang has such an undeniable presence. We all know how big BTS is, but we can also fathom how huge BigBang is even as foreigners with this interaction. To see Suga have such a fun but polite distance when interacting with him, we can all easily see how much respect the OGs like Taeyang did to pave the way for the next gen artists like Suga. It’s a respect that’s earned throughout the entirety of his career. Even when you didn’t live through the peak of Bigbang’s fame, you can understand the work they put in for our idols of today to almost cower or bow down (sorry for the lack of better term. English isn’t my first language) at their presence. It’s just like a king being in the presence of an emperor. Time takes the wheel and then we have another new generation of artists who would be more relevant than our faves that the new generation would put on the pedestal and sometimes in the process may overlook the impact of the ones that came before. It’s inevitable and that’s why it’s always important for us to look at these idols as humans rather than commodities for our sole entertainment because, they too, come and go. Is it just me, or are Suchwita episodes just healing somehow? Just listening to Yoongi talk is healing, just him being so cute makes my day… also all these episodes are never small talk… they are deep. Yoongi brings out real questions, real problems, seeks advice… like… just these half hour sessions are such a treasure. To truly guage the depth of such talks… I re watch them several times… thank you Min Yoongi… Suchwita is becoming the best part of our weeks these days. Please keep doing them as long as you can!

When suga said bigbang is legendary it was so true 😭😭. I entered kpop through 3rd generation but I was always amazed by bigbang. No group is like them. Be it taeyang gd top daesung or seungri each one of them is a main character in their own way. Bigbang had dance vocals rap and swag top class. They were truly inspirational to many 3rd and 4th gen idols. I just love bigbang a lot.

진짜 영배는 아이돌이면 누구나 우상으로 삼을 수 있는 아이인데... 멤버 때문에 본인이 흠이 있다고 생각하게 된 것 같아서 너무 슬퍼요... ㅠㅜ 영배 자체는 정말 모든 아이돌이 가야하는 길을 가는 아이라고 생각해요.. 방탄도 아끼는 이유는 저는 모든 멤버들이 영배 같다는 느낌이 들어서 그랬어요.. 하여튼 둘 다 흥해라아~~ 좋아요 ㅎ

Yup, I think Suga is really fit for talk shows like this... I thought so too when he did his radio show on vlive! He has such a calming voice and presence, he's very thoughtful and listen well to those he interview!

It's so soothing listening to TAEYANG in this interview. Tae has always been the kind, easy-going, humble, but super talented and hard working person but it's so nice to experience it again in 2023. I love that he had some advice for Suga here as well. Ugh it's impossible for any rational person to hate this man. And like Suga said, you can't talk about kpop without talking about the huge legacy of BigBang. 💛💛💛☀️👑

I’m watching this as Taeyang’s fan, but as I finished this video, I am more concerned about Suga and other members. As you process their conversations, you realized that they have a lot of worries where Bigbang also experienced before…becoming a soloist and so on. I’m glad that they’ve met and have a deep conversation as an adult rather than talk as just both artist. To Army, please be kind and more patient to your idol. Support them when they comeback after hiatus, don’t sleep at them. I hope and wish that OT7 will be forever. No one wants to see a group to be disbanded. Honestly.

Yea fr. I mean with BB I think if it wasnt for VIP's attitude towards them, they wouldnt have had the lives they have today in terms of being comfortable with being in their own skin. It just goes to show that a fandom plays such a big and crucial role in an artist's life. It's important to give those people you support some space and time to self-reflect and grow as well, especially when they have been in the spotlighe since their childhood.

Me too I got into kpop with BB and forever a VIP but was so excited for Suga who is beyond talented himself to get to meet our Sun and see how even the diff generations admire and appreciate each other and ignore the toxicity and show they don't care about those things they appreciate whether they are the ones you looked up to or seeing a younger generation succeed after you both bring joy

어릴 적 자신들이 존경했던 롤모델이자 그들을 보며 꿈을 가졌던 팬이였는데 그런 사람과 마주 앉아 대화를 나누고 있으니 감회가 새로울 것 같아요 ㅎㅎ 슈가는 BTS로 큰 성공을 했어도 겸손하고 좋은 마인드를 가지고 있고, 태양은 빅뱅에서 현재의 태양까지 자신이 이미 지나왔던 길에서 느낀것과 경험한것을 슈가에게 진심으로 조언 해주고 서로 공감하는 모습들이 너무 따뜻하고 좋았어요. 두 그룹과 두 사람을 좋아하는 사람으로서 30분의 영상이 너무 행복했습니다 😊

When you meet a BIGBANG member, everybody gets nervous. Not one member of BTS can even level the contribution of bigbang to the industry.

I remembered, it was 2012 when I first listened to I Need a Girl and Wedding Dress. Can't believe 12 years have passed from listening to Taeyang's song to BTS songs. ♥️ 💜 Watching this video of Suga and Taeyang inspires me a lot.

It’s sad to read that other fans don’t try to understand where Suga is coming from. It was a humbling experience for him to get to have deep conversation with his idol. If I was in Suga’s shoes, I’d feel overwhelmed as well. It’s a fact that they’ve looked up to Bigbang when they were growing up. With a goal to be successful artists like Bigbang, they’ve become wonderful artists who received loved from fans all over the world. This conversation is very meaningful for both sides. Taeyang, as humble as he is acknowledged BTS as successful and talented artists. When Taeyang says such things, fans know that it’s coming from a genuine and sincere heart. So I hope fans grow up too like Bigbang and BTS. Personally, I look forward to seeing more interactions from both groups as I am a fan to both. Sending love to Suga and Taeyang.

귀한 영상이라고 생각되는게 일반적인 토크쇼와 일상의 술자리 그 사이의 바이브라 전형적이지 않은 내용과 정돈된 분위기라 보는 내내 편안한데 느껴지는 바가 큰 뭔가 마음이 흔들릴 때마다 한번씩 보면 좋을 것 같은 영상

This is why I like BTS, no matter how success they are in US and around the world, they still go back to their born place and contribute a lot to Korea. Their Korea spirit is so strong. They deserve the title of "self made" as they not come from big three and all of them work hard to achieve what they have now and they still respect and humble.

YES LOUDER! This is what most new gen fans don’t know. YG wasn’t the famous YG during BIGBANG time. They literally had lost of debt and bigbang was only renting had almost only ramen to eat during trainee days. Even YG said Bigbang made YG. It is the new generation groups like Blackpink who are getting benefits of coming from the now famous YG, instantly getting one the best treatments for idols. But BIGBANG did started from the bottom too. Both are legends in their own time.
